Mr. Prevost was one of the speakers I had an opportunity to hear while at the OFA Trade Show in Columbus Ohio on July 14, 2008. I believe he would be a fantastic speaker choice for ProGreen or for a special GCC event. He is a very dynamic, knowledgeable man who has some great insights to share. I was able to hear him speak twice. One seminar was titled “Prospering Outside the Box”. In this lecture, Mr. Prevost talked about the numerous differences independent businesses have from the big box stores. He detailed ways to build connections with our customers and turn our customers into “raving fans” for our businesses. He truly related why these relationships are so vital to our futures and offered some real, practical ideas to help develop a fan club, so to speak. The other seminar was titled “Retaining and Motivating Employees.” I learned some very valuable and surprising things I would regret not knowing today, had I not been able to hear this particular lecture. This particular seminar would be valuable to anyone who works with others. Not to go on, but I do have comprehensive notes from both seminars and would be glad to share my experience with you. I cannot imagine anyone listening to him and not feeling motivated, inspired and filled with a renewed commitment to our customers, co-workers, communities and businesses.
As you can see, I’ve become a bit of a raving fan for Mr. Prevost. I encourage you to share this information with the committees you work with while selecting speakers for industry events.
